Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to manage and nurture long-term relationships with clients in the Oil & Gas industry. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of customers, drive business growth by expanding relationships with existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to foster trust and long-term cooperation.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the existing customer base and new prospects.
  • Negotiate and close contracts to maximize profitability while ensuring client needs are met.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure the successful and timely delivery of solutions in accordance with client specifications.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key account metrics, including monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare detailed reports on account status and progress for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the retail sales team and station dealers to identify and expand business opportunities.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Monitor and ensure timely payment from customers, managing overdue accounts as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with proven success as an Account Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Malay.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and own a car.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and relocate if necessary.
