JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supervise a team of workshop technicians and to ensure work carried out on component/ aircraft with the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure the availability of safety equipment and observe all safety measures whilst working on the component/aircraft and within SAE facilities.
  • Ensure completion of component tasks or checks within the time period allocated.
  • Ensure tasks are evenly and equally distributed to team members and to instill teamwork at all times.
  • Ensure all equipment and resources required for the task are available and report any shortcomings to Team Leader and/or Team Coordinator.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and general upkeep, including equipment and company assets are maintained at the working area at all times.
  • Be responsible for KPI man-hours collection, record accurately and distribution to affected parties/departments.
  • Carry out administrative function for his/her respective shop technicians such as to upkeep staff attendance, annual leave, over time, and medical records and initiate action or non-conformance.
  • Assist Team Leader and/or Team Coordinator to ensure PPC Board is up to date daily.
  • Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code of Conduct.
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.
  • REQUIREMENT & SKILLS

  • Skill Certificate or Diploma or Degree in any engineering field or higher (especially on Aerospace or Aeronautics).
  • 5-year experience in commercial MRO or Component MRO or similar industry.
  • Aviation, MRO knowledge, Aviation Workshops practices.
  • Composite Repair Skills or Radome Repair skills or Painting Skills.
