EXECUTIVE, ACCOUNTS & FINANCE

As an Accounts & Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing cash flow, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with auditors. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Full Set Accounts Management: Manage the full set of accounts, including the closing of monthly management accounts, preparation of bank reconciliations, and journal vouchers.
•Accounts Payable: Manage the accounts payable function, including preparing payment vouchers, cheques, obtaining authorized signatories, distributing payments, and monitoring cash and bank balances.
•Accounts Receivable: Manage the accounts receivable function, including arranging for banking-in and updating the bank book.
•Audit and Tax Coordination: Prepare audit and tax schedules, and liaise with auditors and tax agents for further analysis where required.
•Compliance: Perform day-to-day accounting and finance functions in compliance with internal procedures, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
•Documentation and Administration: Ensure completeness of documents for audit purposes, perform data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
•Cash Flow Management: Monitor and maintain adequate cash flow, ensuring the cash book is regularly updated.
•Reporting: Prepare reports as required by the Accounts/Finance Manager
•Ad-Hoc Assignments: Undertake any other ad-hoc accounting assignments as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

•Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, preferably within the fintech and/or financial services industry.

•Experience in auditing with knowledge of public listed companies is an added advantage.

•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.

•Excellent communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese, with the ability to write and speak fluently in all three languages.

•Exceptional attention to detail, complemented by a proven capacity to work autonomously while maintaining high-quality standards.
