Job Summary:

  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules, engineering maintenance requests, and new work orders are performed and accurately recorded.
  • Provide a monthly work plan to the Director of Engineering for approval.
  • Monitor and implement training required to fulfill the multi-skills policy set by hotel management.
  • Promote environmental sustainability by reducing waste, recycling when possible, and reusing materials when applicable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • A total of 10 years in the engineering field, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, other departments, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address engineering challenges.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia will be considered.
