Requirements: -

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Familiar with the Sabah Labour Ordinance, the Industrial Relations Act and other relevant regulations.
  • Experience in handling Domestic Inquiry procedures and disciplinary cases.
  • Good or excellent command in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Motivated and a team player

Responsibility:-

  • Assist the Head of Department (HOD) of Human Resources and Administration (HRA) in all HR and administration-related matters.
  • Assist in preparing proposal papers and reports for meetings.
  • Assist in updating Human Resource policies and procedures as required.
  • Prepare annual review and update of the HRA operational manual.
  • Manage confidential information with sensitivity and ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Provide necessary information on HR-related matters required by authorities and regulated bodies.
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring processes including preparing employment contracts, promotion letters, etc.
  • Assist the HOD in managing Domestic Inquiry (DI) and other disciplinary issues.
  • Handle Company’s training needs and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Handle matters related to the Company’s insurance policies.
  • Handle matters related to Company’s Unit Trust Scheme Consultants.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and assessments to practical students (interns).
  • Perform any other tasks and duties that may be assigned from time to time.
