Engineer / Senior Engineer (Civil/Structural)

We are seeking motivated Engineers/Senior Engineers (Civil/Structural) to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our organization, you will support daily operations, coordinate with subcontractors and consultants, and ensure that all activities meet the required specifications and standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, analyze and resolve discrepancies, and contribute to the successful execution of civil and structural projects.

Purpose of Job / Job Summary

Support daily operations, including coordinating work with subcontractors and consultants, and ensuring all activities comply with the required specifications and standards. Analyse, identify and resolve any discrepancies in drawings, calculations, and specifications. Prepare necessary documentation for site activities, such as method statements, progress reports, and preliminary drawings.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Report to Construction Manager
• Assist construction manager in oversee the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
• Liaise with Design Engineer on the Temporary works.
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
• Assist CM in handing of technical and engineering problems.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary.
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a recognized degree in a related field.
• Min 3 years of experience in infrastructure/ building projects. Experience in MRT projects is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong willingness to learn.
