AI Ops Engineer (Dynatrace)

Job Responsibilities

• Part of the AiOps team within Emerging Technology department with base location Malaysia
• Focused on implementing and ensuring successful adoption of AIOps Technologies such as Dynatrace
  Solutions, scope may expand to other Application Development technologies as part of Emerging Technology
• Consult with customers to understand their business and technical goals
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Dynatrace products in Production, Test, and Development environments
• Analyze performance data and assist with performance troubleshooting/tuning of customer applications, architecture, and practices
• Build relationships that support the successful adoption and integration of Dynatrace APM products throughout the application lifecycle
• Provide training/enablement sessions to customers
• Support the Day 2 resources where required
• Serve as subject matter expert on Dynatrace Observability techniques and best practices

Qualifications

• IT or Computer Science related Diploma / Degree
• 4-6 years of IT experience
• Must have Dynatrace Associate certification
• 2+ years of practical experience on Dynatrace Platform
• Overall 3+ years of experience in monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar monitoring applications
• Basic knowledge of Unix and Windows platforms
• Understanding of code- and container-level performance tuning, CI/CD process, troubleshooting, and architecture best practices in multi-tier container and cloud-based applications
• Inherent and proven problem-solving nature, with an engaged, self-motivated, can-do attitude
• Demonstrated experience with data visualization via charts and dashboards, including appropriate use of granular and aggregate data
• Excellent presentation skills and an ability to adapt to the audience “on the fly”
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Excitement and eagerness to learn new technologies

Good to Have:

• Dynatrace Professional Certification
• Programming experience in an enterprise application development environment is an advantage. This is not a developer position, but knowledge in enterprise application development is desirable.
