JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responding to inquiries from both international and domestic customers, coordinating shipment arrangements with vendors, and compiling all necessary import and export shipping documentation.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with international and domestic customers, external vendors, shipping agents, freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers to ensure successful shipment clearance and delivery arrangements
- Create and distribute a comprehensive invoice, complete the necessary shipping documentation for filling, and generate relevant reports.
- Monitor the status of import and export shipment tracking ETD/ETA to ensure prompt delivery and meet customer expectations.
- Regularly update customers on the status of their shipments and provide proactive feedback. Cultivate and sustain positive business relationships with vendors.
- Assist customers in facilitating the application process for import duty/tax exemption by providing a certificate of origin, as well as securing necessary import and export permits from government agencies such as SIRIM, CIDB, MIDA/MITI approvals if deemed necessary.
-Familiar with custom Harmonized System tariff codes and able to provide prompt responses to customer inquiries upon request.
- Identify potential market prospects to ensure the competitive edge of the company's services in the industry.
- Adhere to all SOPs and compliance procedures.
- To undertake any tasks that assigned by superior and the management from time to time

REQUIREMENTS
- Applications must possess at least a diploma or higher qualification in the fields of business, marketing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a of 1- 2 years of professional experience in the field of freight forwarding or logistics companies.
- Proficient in computer operations including SQL and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills in multilingual English, Chinese and Malay. Preferable candidates that are fluent in Mandarin Speaking abilities to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers.
- Good teamwork, mature thinking, self-motivated, customer-focused, and great phone etiquette.
- Excellent & positive working attitude with high degree of self motivation.
- Fast learner, proactive, able to work independently under minimum supervision, meticulous, multitask and able to work under pressure.
- Pleasant personality, committed and responsible with high sense of responsibility and urgency.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
