Job Summary:
- Support the strategy of growing market share and brand share preference by proposing and executing promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate campaign rollout materials across channels, as well as operational execution at cinema locations.
- Manage content for point of sale movie materials, including standees, wall wraps and digital screens.
- Maintaining an updated database of movie assets, ensuring that asset specs are accurate and material is approved for use.
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand all upcoming movie content that will be showing in cinemas.
- Initiate discussion or brainstorming with internal team on promotional ideas and key selling points of each upcoming movie content.
- Assist in developing and executing the movie marketing and promotional campaigns by working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conceptualize creatives or ideas for effective movie promotional campaigns and experiential activations.
- Coordinate with movie distributors on the overall marketing and creative operations, ensuring the team receives movie updates and approved materials for promotional use.
- Ensuring movie and promotional creatives are accurately published across TGV’s communication channels in a timely manner – website, mobile app, eDM, push notifications, social media, foyer, screens, on-ground point of sale materials etc.
- Ensuring promotional campaign visuals are cohesive and effective in terms of communication angles and visual appeal, and in-line with the overall strategy to drive interest and admissions for each movie.
- Coordinate with cinema outlets and media assets team to ensure all movie publicity materials (physical and digital) are well displayed at their designated locations.
- Coordinate with operational staff on marketing campaigns and events to ensure smooth and effective execution.
- Develop and share post-campaign reports with internal stakeholders and movie distributors.
- Coordinate and manage premiere screenings, including halls bookings, logistics, guest lists, invitations, and on-site event management.
- Develop detailed timelines for premiere screenings, including special setup, event duration, and post-event activities.
- Liaise with movie distributors, operation team, programming team, and other stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
- Coordinate with cinema operations to ensure the screening venue is properly prepared, including seating arrangements, sound and projection quality checks, and any necessary decor.
- Handle invitations and RSVPs for special guests, including celebrities, influencers, media personnel, and VIPs.
- Arrange video & social coverage and media attendance, ensuring high visibility and publicity for the event.
- Handle all aspects of the premiere screenings, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up, ensuring a high-quality experience for all attendees.
- Quickly address and resolve any issues or unexpected challenges that arise during the event.
- Work with the representatives on talents’/VIPs’ itineraries that include arrival and departure schedules, rehearsal times, and event timings.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing and Business Management or equivalent.
- Preferably 3 - 5 years of working experience in marketing or campaign management, event roles in relatable field.
- Familiarity of movie exhibition industry’s concept, practices and procedures would be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in collaborating with teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail in managing marketing campaigns from strategy development through execution.
- Good understanding of current marketing concepts and effective communications to roll out marketing campaigns.
- Performance oriented, hands-on attitude.
- Capable of communicating clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative, flexible and able to work under pressure.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meticulous and able to prioritize responsibilities.
