Sourcing and Planning Executive

Job Description:

To design category sourcing plans, source for potential suppliers/partners, oversee negotiations,
create marketing support materials (company profile, business proposals etc.), implement contracts,
and drive successful supplier relationships. This role is also responsible for ensuring strong
alignment with country managers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Source and evaluate new suppliers and manage supplier relationship
• Identify potential sourcing opportunities through analysis, stakeholder relationships and exhibitions
• Develop expertise in core categories including product knowledge, industry dynamics and market
trends.
• Manage multiple projects, moving each forward meeting stakeholder requirements
• Effectively prepare, coordinate, and conduct all supplier contract negotiations, contract renewals,
and contract terms compliance. This may require the preparation of marketing support materials
such as company profile, business proposals etc.
Critical Skills
• Experience in the interpretation of contract business terms & conditions
• Experience in drafting business proposals and business plans
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Knowledge and experience sourcing for suppliers/partners in the medical industry will be strongly
preferred
Additional Knowledge & Skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to successfully manage numerous projects/tasks simultaneously
• Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills include intermediate to advanced PowerPoint

Qualifications:
• Degree in Business, Biomedical or Biotechnology or equivalent experience in related field;
• Experience in marketing/sales in the medical industry will be desirable
