QA/Piping Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION OF QA TECHNICIAN

• Responsible for daily IQC, IPQC, and OQC activities, measuring and testing the product, and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality.
• To update production reports on time and provide reports to the superior as required; planning, organizing, and executing all activities relating to Operation Session; ensure all operation processes are adhered to and make necessary amendments or enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare paperwork for production improvements & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documents for rejects.
• Responsible for the improvement of product quality continuously, and cost-reduction projects.
• Responsible and performing the daily quality tests.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested by the management
• Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
• Able to carry out inspection timely during production and conduct checking/testing as specified.

JOB DESCRIPTION OF PIPING TECHNICIAN

• Develop piping designs and layouts according to project specification
• Reviews piping drawings 3D modelling,2D drawings and P&ID (Piping And Instrumentation Diagrams)
• Collaborate with teams to develop piping project plans and schedules.
• Review the detailed BOM listing all materials, quantities, and specifications.
• Monitor progress and ensure that piping deliverables are completed on time
• Conduct inspections and testing of piping systems to ensure quality and functionality
• Maintain accurate documentation and tools of piping designs prepared by engineers

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma, or Certificate
• Self-motivated and hardworking with a pleasant personality
• Strong analytical skills, fast learner, independent and highly motivated and work well with given a short lead time
• Knowledge of the manufacturing operation process would be an added advantage
• Preferred with experience in QA and piping.
