PROJECT ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• To support Project Manager to handle all issues related to engineering & project management.
• To study the required project specification, customer requirements and performance standards.
• Oversee and coordinate project progress and monitor the completion of project delivery, from production to installation, testing and commissioning, feedback and monitoring.
• To communicate and monitor the performance of sub-contractors and ensure the works done by sub-contractors can meet the quality standards set by the company.
• Prepare project Gantt chart to track and carry out close monitoring and control of the project.
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing the information, data, and results.
• To prepare and compile a complete project document.
• To communicate closely with customer on the progress of the project and attend any customer complaints during the project implementation.
• To ensure the project is completed within the pre-set timeline.
• To undertake any assigned tasks or projects from time to time

Requirements

• Candidate must possess educational qualification in Diploma / Degree in Engineering related field.
• Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Good command of English both oral and written.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office application, familiar in project management will be an added advantage.
• Able to accept challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attitude, independent, analytical and good supporter of teamwork.
• Good interpersonal skill and able to interact with all levels of people.
• Willing to travel in short notice either domestics or regionally.
• Possess own transport.
