Key Responsibilities:
• Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar. Ensure all phases (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning) are accurately reflected in the schedule.
• Budget Management: Assist in creating and managing the project budget. Monitor costs, track expenses, and forecast cost variances. Ensure the project stays within the approved financial limits.
• Progress Tracking: Track project progress against the baseline schedule, identify potential delays or deviations, and propose corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Resource Allocation: Coordinate with the procurement and engineering teams to ensure optimal allocation of resources (labor, equipment, materials) in line with the project schedule.
• Change Management: Document and analyze any changes to the project scope or timeline, ensuring that all changes are reflected in the updated project plans and cost estimates.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks related to project timelines, budget, and resources. Develop mitigation strategies to address these risks and present them to the Project Manager.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project status, progress, costs, and forecasts. Present key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and the client.
• Cost Control: Monitor expenditures, including materials, labor, and services, to ensure alignment with the project’s financial goals. Support the Project Manager in negotiating cost-saving initiatives.
• Contractual Support: Provide input to the contract management team to ensure project milestones, payments, and costs are in line with the contractual obligations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with all project teams (engineering, procurement, construction) to ensure project timelines and financial targets are realistic and achievable.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE): Support HSE compliance by ensuring project schedules include safety measures, inspections, and regular audits.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP/PMI-SP certification is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project control or planning, ideally in the power generation or energy sector. Prior experience working on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost management tools. Strong understanding of project control methodologies, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide insights into project performance, risks, and variances.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate project delays, cost overruns, and resource shortages, and take proactive measures to address them.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, supporting the Project Manager and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
