Job Summary

Prepare delicious meals according to menu. Delight our guest with their taste and timely delivery. Able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. Must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead, mentor, and manage culinary team.
  • Develop and plan menus and daily specials.
  • Create prep lists for kitchen crew.
  • Manage food costing and inventory.
  • Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
  • Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.
  • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • Experience of kitchen equipment
  • Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
  • Competent level of English spoken and written
  • Ability to produce excellent high-quality food
  • Good oral communication
  • The ability to work under extreme pressure
  • The ability to communicate in a fast-moving environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
  • Positive and approachable manner

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
