We are looking to hire a full time Finance Manager to be based at our Head Office in Bandar Sunway.

Job Description:

Accounts and Finance

  • To supervise and control the centralised accounting department.
  • To control all foreign currency transactions.
  • To review and prepare full set accounts and other management reports.
  • To assist in the preparation of Annual Budgets.
  • To ensure strict adherence to the OVOL Group’s monthly, budgetary and forecast reporting deadlines.
  • To assist the management to review the monthly results and annual results.
  • To assist the management in all matters pertaining to strategic plans.
  • To review and monitor insurance policies of the Malaysian operations in discussion with the Management. Monthly submission of Marine and Goods-In-Transit Insurance.
  • To monitor the review of debtors and stock ageing reports monthly to ascertain the adequacy of provisions in the accounts. To oversee the credit control functions.
  • To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements accurately and promptly to the Management and holding company.
  • Secretarial

  • To coordinate resolutions and board papers as required by the Directors and attend to all relevant secretarial matters and to ensure the filing of all the requisite returns with the Registrar of Companies on a timely basis.
  • To review agreements, contracts and other legal matters, liaising with the Company’s solicitors and other advisors where applicable.
  • Job Requirements:

    • With at least 5 years of experience in the similar capacity.
    • Bachelor’s Degree, CPA or ACCA in Accounting.
    • Good technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
    • Ability to work in a team and a good sense of responsibility.
    • Analytical, resourceful, organized, meticulous, responsible, excellent problem-solving skills, and committed to meeting deadlines.
    • High level of computer literacy in MS Office specifically Microsoft Excel.
    • Proficient in English both spoken and written.
