Key Responsibilities:
- Design Product Packaging and Marketing Materials
- Develop creative and eye-catching designs for product launches and marketing campaigns, ensuring that packaging aligns with the brand’s identity and stands out in a competitive market.
Collaborate with Suppliers for Production Quality - Work closely with packaging suppliers to ensure designs are print-ready and meet the highest production standards, troubleshooting any issues during the production process.
Maintain Brand Consistency Across All Platforms - Ensure consistent visual language across digital and print media, including social media, advertisements, and promotional materials, reflecting the company's core values and messaging.
Lead Design Projects and Post-Mortem Reviews - Oversee the complete design process from concept to execution, managing timelines and resources. Conduct weekly post-mortem meetings to evaluate the success of design projects and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct Market Research to Stay Trend-Savvy - Perform research on industry trends, competitor designs, and consumer preferences to inform design strategies and ensure the company's visual branding stays fresh and relevant.
Innovate the Company’s Visual Identity - Continuously propose new design concepts and campaigns to evolve the brand’s visual identity, ensuring it remains modern, engaging, and aligned with emerging design trends.
Mentor Junior Designers - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, offering feedback and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance the overall creative output.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the food industry or a relevant sector, with a focus on packaging design.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design tools such as AI-powered graphic design software.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, typography, and color theory.
- Proven ability to maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers and external production teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
