Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager (Non-Trade) to oversee and manage our procurement activities for non-trade goods and services. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization acquires the necessary resources efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies for non-trade categories, including but not limited to, services, IT equipment, office supplies, and facilities management.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; negotiate contracts; manage supplier performance and relationships to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and comply with legal and company requirements.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement budgets; identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present approval papers & reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and market trends to senior management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to understand their needs and provide procurement support and guidance.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPPM are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on non-trade goods and services.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Solid understanding of market dynamics and supplier landscapes.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal: Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
