Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings, resume screening, scheduling interview, conducting reference checks and on/offboarding. Collaborate with department head to understand hiring needs and develop job descriptions that attract suitable candidates.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientation sessions for new hires and ensuring proper exit procedures for departing employees.
  • Payroll: Responsible for full spectrum of payroll management which including process of monthly payroll, allowances, commissions, deductions, statutory contributions, yearly EA From, filling of Form E and others, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Compensation & Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits programs and handle related inquiries.
  • HR Policies and compliance: Supports the development and implementation of HR policies, employee handbooks, standard operating procedures, forms and tools to ensure compliance and to meet legal requirements, best practice and organizational objective.
  • Learning & Development: Collaborate with department heads to align training programs and team building with business objectives. Handling HRDC training application and reimbursement.
  • Performance Management: Be a team player to support the execution of multiple Human Resources core functions which include developing and implementation an effective Performance Rewards System (OKRs or KPIs), including conducting performance reviews and collaborate with department heads providing feedback to employees.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns. Collaborate with department heads to manage in resolving employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • HR Administration: Responsible for all HR documentations and administration such as employment contracts, employment contract renewal, salary adjustment, transfer, redesignation, personnel documents, attendance, leave administration, medical records, insurance, etc.
  • To liaise with relevant government agencies and departments pertaining to HR and statutory compliance if needed.
  • Responsible for preparing internal & external HR audit.
  • To assist in all activities organized by Admin Department or Sport Club (gotong royong, staff welfare events, birthday celebration, annual dinner, CSR program, etc.)
  • To perform any other ad hoc related task assigned by Department Manager/General Manager from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business studies / administration / human resources management or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience as an HR Executive or similar role, with 5 years or more in HR management.
  • Computer literate and skilled in MS office applications.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Employment Act 1955.
  • Outstanding leadership skills. Inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead a team, train talent and effect change.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle and keep all confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Experience with HR software and payroll systems is a plus.
