The Quality Assurance needs to be a master of the Ashley packaging standards and requirements. Be able to guide packaging suppliers and furniture vendors to follow Ashley's requirements, evaluate the packaging quality and the production capability of suppliers, and provide professional suggestions for improvement.

Responsible for carton and EPS sampling and submission for testing and result tracking.

Responsible for packaging quality check of new item drop test and initial production.

Participate in the regular Supplier Manufacturing Process Audit, it includes incoming material inspection, machine maintenance, status of workers’ compliance with SOP, quality control from production to delivery, shipping label, etc. To make sure the production quality of supplier is well managed, and operation is efficient.

Monitor carton and EPS physical properties checking during finished product inspection.

Participate in the tracking process of quality problems.

Monitor furniture vendors’ incoming inspection record of cartons and EPS.

Assist in supervising furniture vendors’ use of carton and EPS suppliers and help collect order information, delivery and receipt notes, invoices, and other related information from furniture vendors and packaging suppliers for verification.

Proactively report abnormal situations and important affairs to superiors

1. Education

  • College and above
  • Major in packaging or other engineering subjects.

2. Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance of packaging, and related experience in the furniture field is preferred.
  • Prefer to know quality control.
  • Prefer to have experience in carton/EPS testing.
  • Prefer to have experience and skill of driving supplier to accomplish company requirements.
  • Prefer to have trading/sourcing company working experience.

3. Skills and Abilities

  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

4. Language

Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
