  • Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers for various goods and services.
  • Communicate and negotiate with vendors regarding purchases in order to obtain the best price.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure adequate supplies are available to meet operational needs.
  • Track deliveries, evaluate vendor performance and build strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Ensure that purchases are correctly invoiced/completed and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data related to purchases, inventory and other related administrative functions.
  • Assist in day to day accounting/ administrative operations.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time as deemed necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing.
  • Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • High level of integrity & meticulousness.
  • Strong organization & communication skills; initiative and detailed-oriented, independent and strong sense of urgency.
