JOB DESCRIPTION

Operational Management

  • Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
  • Support the Operations Manager in managing day-to-day activities and troubleshooting operational issues
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to cash management
  • Provide training and support to teller and staff on operational processes, systems and best practices
  • Manage and build relations with local and foreign bank partners as well as vendors.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of operational staff
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback and support staff development
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
  • Do onsite and offsite monitoring of branch

Project Management

  • Support the planning and execution of operational projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Accounting and Finance or its equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in management capacity preferably in a Financial Institution or Money Services Business
  • Proven experience as a business intelligence analyst or similar role, preferably in a corporate
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Good writing skills, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Data driven, analytical and detailed oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet agreed deadlines
  • Able to work independently and possess own transport and willing to travel
