JOB DESCRIPTION
Operational Management
- Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
- Support the Operations Manager in managing day-to-day activities and troubleshooting operational issues
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to cash management
- Provide training and support to teller and staff on operational processes, systems and best practices
- Manage and build relations with local and foreign bank partners as well as vendors.
Team Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of operational staff
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback and support staff development
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
- Do onsite and offsite monitoring of branch
Project Management
- Support the planning and execution of operational projects and initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Accounting and Finance or its equivalent
- Minimum 2 years working experience in management capacity preferably in a Financial Institution or Money Services Business
- Proven experience as a business intelligence analyst or similar role, preferably in a corporate
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Good writing skills, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Data driven, analytical and detailed oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet agreed deadlines
- Able to work independently and possess own transport and willing to travel
