Reports to : HEAD OF MARKETING, RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSIONS

Purpose

As a member of the student recruitment team, the individual is responsible for meeting student recruitment targets and actively participating in a range of student recruitment-related activities.

The role is an external-facing one. There is frequent travel within Malaysia. The individual must be willing to work beyond normal working hours and during weekends where required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit students and be responsible for meeting recruitment targets.

• Participate in a range of student recruitment events and activities include education fairs, roadshows and school visits.

• Handle enquiries and counsel potential students and their parents via face-to-face, phone, email and other means.

• Proactively follow-up on leads.

• Where required, build win-win relationships with agents, school counsellors and other stakeholders.

Head of Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions or other.

Contact

There will be regular contact with external stakeholders such as prospective students, parents, schools and agents. There will be frequent internal contact with the academic team.

Terms and Conditions

The post is initially on a two-year contract, renewed subject to satisfactory performance and based on the UoRM campus at Educity, Iskandar Puteri, Johor .

Relevant Experience

  • At least 2 years in a student recruitment, marketing or related role in the higher education sector.
