Job description

Key Roles:

· Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

· Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

· Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account

reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.

· Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.

· Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.

· Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.

· Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.

· Manage and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (SST) and audits procedures.

· Review of BOD Papers (Finance Performance, Dividend & Risk Management) and Ad-hoc reports (MFRS, GP analysis etc.) requested by management.

· To commit towards company Integrated Management System (IMS).

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in General Accounting and preferably knowledge and experience in SAP Business One
  • Good level of written/oral in English Language & Bahasa Malaysia.

Key Competencies Required:

  • A team leader and able to work with minimum supervision, independent as well as in a team
  • Candidate must be resourceful, strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills as well as personal initiatives and good rapport with upstream and downstream functions
  • Highly organize with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadline
