Position Summary:

  • Leads the equipment range of products for diagnostic equipment, dry eye equipment, phaco equipment businesses within designated territory. Establishes comprehensive business strategies and oversees all tactics required to achieve them. Ensure inventory levels is aligned with In-Market Sales.
  • Anticipates market trends and implements the necessary changes to meet customer needs. Assesses market data, determines, and prioritizes potential market growth opportunities. Implements and sustains business processes that ensure efficient execution of key business initiatives.
  • Establish close partnership with ASM, sales team, product champions, principals. To provide training and coaching for the designated sales team. Builds and maintains relationships with our customers and decision-makers in the local health care system, government agencies, regulatory bodies, key opinion leaders and community.
  • Key person in technical and application support needed across the assigned portfolios.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote Swissmed products in the territory and increase market shares among the given portfolio of equipment & microsurgical instruments.
  • To promote & create awareness in Equipment & Instrument portfolio.
  • To work closely with ASM and sales team on the equipment demonstration and rental services.
  • Technical training for Drs. & staff, UAT for hospital key persons.
  • Customers’ practice development support.
  • Represent Transmedic at National congresses and International congresses.
  • To support Product Specialist in training & development.
  • To responsible in new product launching in the aspect of equipment and microsurgical instruments.
  • To provide technical support as required especially for Testing & Commissioning and PPM on any assigned territory/accounts.
  • To perform duties assigned by ASM & National Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Optometry/ Engineering/Medical Science/ Life Science/ Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Preferably 5 years of working experience in relevant industry.
  • Strong problem solving skills, critical thinking and decision making skills.
  • Independent, task oriented, and driven personality.
  • Strong team player to work closely with team and managers.
  • Must possess own car and able to travel frequently.
  • Fully-vaccinated for covid-19.
