What would you do?

  • Finance projects implementation and project management – provide support in managing finance projects and systems implementation and support new product launches/projects where required.
  • Process improvements – identify gaps, drive collaboration between Finance and Business Units and support improvement implementations.

Job Descriptions: -


Projects

  • Support in managing and executing finance projects and systems implementation and any other ad hoc projects as required.
  • Responsible for diligently monitoring and following-up on project activities, deliverables and timelines.
  • Support in partnering with relevant business stakeholders to support the launch of new products/services and projects – able to formalize/review finance user requirements, review UAT documentation, advise on accounting treatment, etc.
  • Able to liaise with different levels of stakeholders including Senior Management.

Process Improvements

  • Proactive in supporting finance division continuous improvements
  • Develop performance metrics to monitor and measure process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify process gaps, control weaknesses and support in remediation and rectification.

Risk & Compliance

  • Oversee remediation of control gaps, audit/compliance findings.
  • Ensure execution of risk & compliance frameworks.
  • Perform internal controls review/testing, incident reporting.
  • Facilitate training to create risk awareness and internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Develop performance metrics to monitor and measure process improvement initiatives.

Others

  • Support in any ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Provide support in drafting reports and conduct research for the Management


Job Requirements: -

  • Degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in GL, month-end closing or full set account.
  • Proven experience in financial systems implementation (Lead consultant), project management, management of financial systems and process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills to engage different stakeholder levels.
  • Driven, with a strong focus on delivering results in a timely manner.
  • Adaptable to attend to ad-hoc requests and fluid requirements.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Project management experience is a must.
