We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical systems within our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, reliability principles, and maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities: Reliability Improvement: - Develop and implement strategies to enhance the reliability of electrical systems and equipment. - Identify and analyze failure modes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify and address reliability issues. Maintenance Strategy: - Develop and optimize maintenance strategies to ensure the long-term reliability of electrical systems. - Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs. - Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop and improve maintenance procedures and practices. Data Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze reliability data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. - Generate regular reports on the reliability performance of electrical systems and present findings to management. - Use reliability engineering tools and software to analyze data and support decision-making. Project Management: - Lead and manage reliability improvement projects from inception to completion. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. - Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor project progress. Technical Support: - Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams regarding electrical reliability issues. - Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the reliability knowledge and skills of team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical reliability engineering. Compliance and Standards: - Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. - Develop and implement reliability standards and guidelines for electrical systems and equipment. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Reliability Engineer) is a plus. - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical reliability engineering or a related field. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and reliability engineering principles. - Experience with reliability tools and methodologies such as RCA, FMEA, and predictive maintenance technologies. - Proficient in reliability engineering software and tools. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Working Conditions: - This position may require occasional travel to various company locations and job sites. - Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
