Role Purpose

Responsible for establishing and maintaining an organizational framework to optimize production planning, resource and capacity management, and the availability of tools, equipment, and skilled personnel. The role ensures compliance with procedures, oversees technical records, and ensures staff competency through training. Additionally, the manager ensures adequate facilities, effective document control, and leads a team of managers to ensure seamless operations.

Key Accountability

  • Develop and manage production planning, resource management, and capacity planning frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and maintenance standards.
  • Oversee mandatory training to ensure maintenance personnel competency.
  • Ensure the availability of facilities (hangars, workshops) for planned maintenance work.
  • Implement tailored production planning systems for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure availability of necessary tools, equipment, and skilled personnel for tasks.
  • Determine manpower needs for capacity planning.
  • Oversee the storage and management of technical records and documentation.
  • Identify and report inaccuracies in maintenance procedures and documentation.
  • Lead and support a team of managers to ensure smooth operations, delegating responsibilities when needed.

Qualifications & Working Experience

  • Degree in any related field or tertiary education in engineering discipline and/or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License.
  • Thorough knowledge on all airlines systems especially on Engineering & Maintenance.
  • Minimum ten years' experience in the airline engineering industry, with more than 5 years' experience in administrative role.
