Senior Finance Executive

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's goals.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
• Work closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely budget submissions.
• Provide variance analysis and explain deviations from the budget.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Present financial reports and insights to senior management and the board of directors.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Monitor changes in financial regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or in a senior finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
• In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
• Willingness to work on off/rest days if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
