Job Scopes:

  • Deliver engaging and specialized instruction in one or more elective subjects: ICT, Music or Physical Education (PE) to primary school students.
  • Develop and implement subject specific lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
  • Foster a creative and dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm in elective subjects.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, with a specialization or strong background in ICT, Music or Physical Education.
  • Valid teaching certification or qualification relevant to the elective subject(s).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching the elective subject(s) at the primary level.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to speak, read and write fluently with minimal grammatical errors.
  • Passion for the elective subject(s) and a commitment to inspiring students through creative teaching approaches.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities shall be as follows:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the specific elective subject(s) and meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monito student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes in the elective subject(s).
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate elective subjects into the broader school curriculum and initiatives.
  • Participates in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities related to the elective subject(s).
