SENIOR BARISTA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Barista to lead our barista team in delivering exceptional coffee experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a deep understanding of coffee-making techniques, and the ability to mentor and inspire junior baristas. As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of coffee beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting in the daily operations of the café.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing remarkable customer service to customer ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved
• Preparing and serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks
• Understanding and knowledge about the characteristic and variety of coffee bean and it’s blend
• Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
• Tracking and ordering inventory for cafe and beverage supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, napkins and cups
• Maintaining espresso machines, grinders, coffee machines and other equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
• Keeping the work environment and cafe seating area clean, sanitary and organized
• Responding to and resolving customer concerns or complaints
• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
• Attracting new customers and refining the menu

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent listening and communication skills to effectively interact with team and customers
• Basic coffee knowledge, such as how to prepare common coffee beverages,
• Advanced knowledge, such as roasting and grinding processes, coffee bean sourcing and flavor differences, will be added advantage
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact in a positive manner and prevent or resolve conflicts
• Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with other Baristas
