Performs, manages and supervises the Maintenance operation for exterior and interior facilities including electric, refrigeration, plumbing, heating, cooling, structural and other Maintenance work necessary to maintain the property in optimum and efficient condition. Also, ensures the safety and comfort of the guest and employees

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Manages and administers the entire Engineering Department, such as heat, power and light including refrigeration and ventilating equipment.
  • Reports and recommends to the management concerning the best way on effective utilization of heat, light, power and proper application of repair, preventive Maintenance plans and procedures compatible with operational requirements and expenditures involving alterations and improvements of mechanical equipment.
  • Co-ordinates and direct the staff in operating and maintaining the mechanical plant and building.
  • Conducts regular meetings with Department Heads to review methods and procedures, plans for charges and co-ordinates special projects.
  • Inspects the Engineering rooms, service rooms, and Chiller Plant Room. Guestrooms and the entire building installations according to the schedule.
  • Prepares and controls the capital expenditures and maintenance budgets.
  • Plans the budgets pertaining to Repairs and Maintenance, Furniture and Equipment, Operation Equipment and Capital Expenditures and Rehabilitation Project in relation to the financial planning.

  • Assists in drafting out the Fire Safety Program of the Hotel.
  • To be eligible for this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering
  • Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance procedures.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
