RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Operational Finance team, overseeing General Ledger, Costing, and Treasury functions to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Assist the CEO in managing and optimizing the overall Finance department, with a strong focus on the Manufacturing segment.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts to support the Group’s strategic objectives.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Supervise the accounting team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage cash flows operations, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet the Company’s obligation while supporting growth and expansion initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and capitalize on opportunities for business improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to drive financial performance and align financial strategies with business goals.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies (such as auditor, company secretary, tax agent, bankers) to ensure full compliance with local statutory laws and regulations.
  • Optimize financial system by integrating and upgrading financial software when necessary, ensuring the company remains at an adequate level of technological advancement and efficiency.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management to support overall business success.


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

  • A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of solid experience in external audit and/or commercial accounting roles.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector, team management, will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced functions).
  • Good command of English, diligence, proactivity, and optimism.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities with a positive attitude.
  • Team-oriented, outspoken, with strong interpersonal skills.
