QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Designer, Interior Architecture, or any related fields
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Interior Design or related roles within the construction industry
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Consultation- Need Assessment: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget
- Design Planning- Space Planning: Create functional layouts that optimize the. use of the space
- Technical Drawing & Documentation- Blueprints and Floor Plan: Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for constructions or renovations
- Project Management- Coordination: Work with architects, contractors, and other professionals. to ensure the design is implemented correctly
- Site Visits & Supervision- On Site Checks: Visit the project site regularly to ensure work is progressing according to the design. plan & quality standards
- Client Communication- Updates: Keep clients informed about the project progress, changes and any issues
- Regulations & Compliance- Building Codes: Ensure that design comply with local building codes, regulations and safety standards
- Final Presentation & Handover- Styling and Decoration: Oversee the final styling and placement of furniture and accessories
- Post Projects Support-Feedback collection: Solicit feedback from clients to improve future projects
SKILLS
- Creativity: A strong sense of aesthetics and creativity is crucial
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (like autoCAD, Sketch Up, or Adobe Creative Suite) and an understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other professionals
