Job Description:

  • Oversee the purchasing process from order placement to delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procurement strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure the continuous supply of goods and services.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on quality, reliability, cost, and other relevant criteria.
  • Negotiate and co-ordinate with supplier and cross-functional department for best possible price purchase and delivery time with the quality required for the project.
  • Analyze purchasing data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, invoicing, or quality control in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide reports on procurement activities, and analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for efficiency.
  • Job Requirement:

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • At least 8 years of experience in purchasing roles, preferably in manufacturing industry.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
