JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Prepare and ensure timely submission of Contractors Monthly progress claim and sub-contractor’s certificate.
  • Conduct joint measurements to verify work completed by contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Assist the Contract Manager to prepare reports and variation orders.
  • Prepare final accounts of main contract and sub-contracts.
  • Implement cost control procedures.
  • Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.
  • Check quantity and advise purchaser on materials to be ordered.
  • Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior
  • To participate in tendering for new projects.
  • Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.
  • Prepare Tender Documents including BQ and cost estimation.
  • Review and analyse cost studies and budget.
  • Evaluate tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.
  • Appointment of contractors/sub-contractors and prepare letter of award.
  • Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.
  • Ad-hoc assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey or equivalent.
  • Preferably Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required language(s):Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • AM QS position may be considered subject to candidate's experience.
