JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare and ensure timely submission of Contractors Monthly progress claim and sub-contractor’s certificate.
- Conduct joint measurements to verify work completed by contractors and sub-contractors.
- Assist the Contract Manager to prepare reports and variation orders.
- Prepare final accounts of main contract and sub-contracts.
- Implement cost control procedures.
- Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.
- Check quantity and advise purchaser on materials to be ordered.
- Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior
- To participate in tendering for new projects.
- Responsible in taking off quantities and calling for quotations.
- Prepare Tender Documents including BQ and cost estimation.
- Review and analyse cost studies and budget.
- Evaluate tenders from contractors/sub-contractors.
- Appointment of contractors/sub-contractors and prepare letter of award.
- Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.
- Ad-hoc assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey or equivalent.
- Preferably Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required language(s):Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
- AM QS position may be considered subject to candidate's experience.
