Job Purpose:
The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving targeted sales growth of a portfolio of specific customers by maintaining and developing existing customers as well as exploring new account opportunities while delivering a unique experience to our customers.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Increase and Optimize Activity:
- Manage a portfolio of customers, conduct required daily sales visits, and ensure achievement of sales and profit margin targets.
- Focus on key account retention and growth by ensuring proper contact to develop and provide custom-made solutions that add value and solidify the partnership.
- Identify sales opportunities (new accounts or new products) using market knowledge.
- Work closely with the sales team and category specialists to develop effective sales strategies.
Increase SKU Penetration and Profitability:
- Identify customer needs and recommend the right product for each customer.
- Advise customers and provide personalized solutions through a professional and technical approach to help fix identified issues.
- Grow or increase usage of current products by applying technical knowledge and introducing new recipe ideas or concepts that respond to needs or new trends.
- Play a key role in sampling distribution and customer feedback collection.
- Ensure tenders are prepared, documented, and submitted in a timely and professional manner if needed.
Maintain High Levels of Customer Satisfaction:
- Strive for high levels of satisfaction among customers.
- Communicate and coordinate with other CFF resources such as Sales Manager, Marketing, and Operations to meet and exceed customer satisfaction at all times.
- Proactively check product quality/availability to avoid complaints.
- Manage and record customer complaints according to CFF standards, propose solutions, take action, and involve management or suppliers when necessary.
Market Intelligence:
- Have advanced knowledge of the market situation, trends, and opportunities within the scope.
- Proactively collect feedback from the field, including customer feedback, competitor activities, new trends, and business opportunities.
- Coordinate with management to ensure information is circulated.
Stock Management and Forecasting:
- Support effective stock management by providing sales forecasts of account needs.
- Be aware of supply schedules and stock positions for product categories, and anticipate issues (shortage, overstock).
- Propose solutions to avoid/fix stock problems and prevent wastage or product unavailability.
Reporting:
- Record daily customer visits in the required format.
- Provide reports based on management requirements (stock/sales analysis, etc.).
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least SPM/ "O" Level or certificate/Diploma
- Mature, self- motivated and independent individual with good interpersonal skill.
- Individual with experience in food & beverage industry is advantage
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role.
- Strong knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and effectively manage customer portfolios.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose solutions to meet customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Willingness to travel for sales visits and customer meetings.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
