This position will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the company. This role involves assisting in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) activities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoicing entries, payment preparation, and maintenance of payment listings and ageing reports.
  • Generate invoices, debit and credit notes, and maintain customer listings and ageing reports for accounts receivable.
  • Assist in general ledger activities such as PPE depreciation, accruals, prepayment, and provision journals.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank reconciliation, debtor reconciliation, creditor reconciliation, and fixed asset reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet listing schedules, expenses schedules, inter-company balances, etc.
  • Maintain organized filing systems to ensure all company documents are up-to-date, properly filed, and well-kept.
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in all accounting processes.
  • Undertake other administrative duties and handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least in LCCI Diploma, partial professional qualification, Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years of working experience in accounting/finance field is required.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team with minimum supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
