Job overview:

As the key officer at the One Stop Student Centre counter by providing information, advice, and assistance regarding various type of financial aids. Responsible as the liaison officer for financial aid bodies such as PTPTN, MARA, JPA and others. Plan and proposed policies and procedures/operation of application and submission of financial aids and other sponsorship.

Sponsorship & Financial Aid

  • To provide information regarding financial aid and sponsorship via briefing especially for new students.
  • To assist student for PTPTN application via MyPTPTN number for the purposes of online application
  • To remind students about the application deadline for certain sponsorships/ financial aids via email, phone calls and announcement
  • To inform students to send related documents (i.e sponsorship agreement) to Student Affairs Department if required by the sponsor agency for sponsorship process
  • Review the agreement before it is submitted to the sponsor.
  • To take care of good rapport with sponsor bodies from time to time
  • To liase and update information about potential sponsor body for student
  • Coordinate visit from sponsors whenever necessary
  • Coordinate interview sessions with sponsor/financial aids agency whenever necessary.
  • To prepare any related documents for students for their financial aid's purposes i.e Student Confirmation Letters.
  • To keep and maintain updated database of student financial aids information in student information system and filing of student's financial aids.

Key Challenges

End-to-end management, coordination and administration of student sponsorship and financial aids activities.

Maintenance, update, upkeep and administration of learning and development records and documentation.

Qualification:

Education Qualifications Possessed at least a Diploma/Degree in Management/ Office Management/ Administration

Relevant Experience

Having at least 1-3 years of solid working experience with a sound knowledge and understanding of customer service and communication.

Experience in managing and handling PTPTN and MARA applications and handling financial aids matters.

Personal Characteristics & Behaviours

Good communications skills, both verbally and orally.

Possess a high level of commitment, initiative, interpersonal skill and is a team player. Flexible and agile, able to move and work flexibly and creatively.

Meticulous, analytical, and proactive.
