Responsibilities
- Responsible to manage new change request on external maintained system from change request scope definition through implementation across internal, external and cross functional teams.
- Responsible to provide first line support to users on all application related requests/enquiries.
- Responsible to assist in the smooth running of BAU for IT functions.
- Understand and familiar with database structure and data contents of various applications.
- Able to access database and perform necessary actions (query, extraction, investigation) to support the BAU operations of section.
- Ensure project/dept milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
- To meet and attend the demand and delivery of data warehouse systems/services and system.
- Follow-up and communicate effectively with relevant parties to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure all mandatory project/request documents are properly sign-off and documented.
- Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the various applications.
- Provide IT solutions to meet the business need that is aligned to the Company’s strategic business objective.
- Ensures assign tasks and assignment are completed satisfactorily on time, and in compliance with proposal and established standards.
- Responsible to assist in smooth running of business as usual for IT functions.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology.
- Minimum 1 year experience in IT related function.
- Databases knowledge (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, etc)
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective communication, writing and interpersonal communication.
- Good business acumen and organization awareness.
