Power BI Developer / Data Analyst

This role consists of leading the design, development, and deployment of business analytics dashboards using Microsoft Power BI technologies. You will play a vital role in transforming data into actionable insights for our Brands. You will collaborate with external & internal teams to design, develop and maintain Power BI solutions that drive informed decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business objectives, designing the data model, and developing visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Designing and developing BI reports and interactive dashboards
• Responsible for data management, ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis (data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes).
• Data security
• Collaborating with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality BI solutions that meet them.
• Optimize and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within Power BI solutions, data presented in the dashboards and report.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure to ensure its up-to-date and running smoothly.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in Power BI and data visualization to leverage them effectively.
  

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Power BI Developer
• Microsoft Power BI Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Power BI for creating reports and dashboards
• Familiarity with other BI and data visualisation tools.
• Strong skills for data manipulation and extraction
• Strong Knowledge of data modelling
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
