Tsutaya Bookstore - AEON Mall Tebrau City (Temporary Worker)

Job Responsibilities;

• Ensure the store (including café) is clean, ready and safe for customers; oversee inventory management, restocking shelves; review and update the store’s daily schedule and operations plan.
  Monitor and maintain a welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere; address customer inquiries, requests and concerns.
• Conduct daily team meetings to align on goals and tasks; manage staffs breaks and shifts, ensuring adequate coverage; provide training and guidance to team members.
• Handle cash register, payment processing and financial transactions; keep record of daily sales, expenses and cash flow; manage cash float and safe.
• Inventory tracking; issue purchase order as needed; receive and organized new or return stock; oversee pricing and sales promotions; removing updated items from shelves.
• Execute the plan of promotions, discounts and special events; engage with customers to drive sales and loyalty, monitor customer feedback and make improvement based on input; maintain an attractive and dynamic product display.
• Conduct safety checks and address any potential hazards (including café); maintain a secure and well-organized workspace; verify that staffs follow safety and hygiene protocols.
  

Job Requirements;

• SPM, Certificate, Diploma and other related course/field.
• Interest in a retail management role, preferably in a bookstore, Stationery, Cafe or related industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Has a passion for books and literature.
• Must be able to work in shift, weekend & Public Holiday. flexible hours.
• This position will be based in AEON Tebrau City, Johor Bharu.
• Payment RM10/hour.
