Summary Description
1. Work with cross-functional team to develop and implement improve solution to achieve lower manufacturing cost and higher product quality.
2. Setup and manage project focusing on process control to determine better process outcome.
3. Carry out initial feasibility study, process evaluation and provide recommendation for improvement.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
1. Coordinate evaluation to characterize the critical process and control to determine the outcome performance in relation to various changes to input parameters.
2. Consistently exploring new / advance technologies and evaluating suitability of these technologies in enhance manufacturing and quality.
3. Coordinate cost effective manufacturing process and provide technical support.
4. Establish performance criteria to ensure process consistency prior to mass implementation.
5. Ensure proper documentation for all new processes or changes prior to mass production release.
6. Weekly reporting to superior on project progress.
Position Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or Physic.
- Familiar with Manual Fixture, Semi Auto Fixture and Auto Machine with controller (PC and PLC), Pro E program, testing data based.
- Experience in experience in manufacturing environment on process improvement.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Knowledge in 6 Sigma and related tools such as DFMEA, TRIZ would be added advantage.
