RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage all accident repairs (claim and non-claim).
- To ensure the vehicles are repaired to manufacturers specification and within the benchmark set.
- To prepare and submit Accident Vehicle Summary reports and highlight irregularities and discrepancies to the Manager - Maintenance controller. Summary reports to be submitted every 20th day of the following month.
- To stand in as Maintenance Controller when necessary.
DUTIES
- Opening of Accident Case File in FMS.
- Monitoring the progress of repairs and to close all accident claim file or work upon the satisfactory completion of repairs by respective Repairers.
- Investigating potentially fraudulent claims;
- Assess accident on Spanco vehicles and submit repair cost to Manager Maintenance Control and Technical for approval (after vetting quotation from Repairer).
- Handling any complaints associate with a claim.
- Involvement in laws adjusting activities and in legal discussions relating to
settlement. - Prepare proposal to Manager - Maintenance Controller for vehicle badly damage to be CTL (Constructive Total Loss).
- To ensure all "Discharge Vouchers" are signed by the Driver or User before the repair Sdn Bhd within the 3rd working days from date of release of vehicle to Customers.
- To ensure all accident repairs above RM3k are inspected after repairs.
- To apply approval from JPJ - Jabatan Teknikal on cars where damages affected vehicles chassis specified in JPJ guidelines.
- To ensure these vehicles are sent to Puspakom or JPJ for inspection where necessary upon completion of repairs.
- Adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customers quality standards set by the company.
