PURCHASING EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities:

• Source for new suppliers considering prices, lead times and quality.
• Ensure that the spares trading needs are met.
• Participate in meetings with suppliers.
• Support direct reports as needed.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best possible service offerings with respect to lead time vs.

price and quality.

• Conduct benchmarking exercises.
• Build a preferred supplier listing with primary, secondary, and tertiary options.
• Proactively propose new purchasing channels, concepts, and methods.
• Follow all relevant procedures and policies.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
• Perform all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards set by the

company.

• Handle and ensure deliveries of parts to Skyways Technics are on time.

Skills & Added Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience, prefereably in aviation industry
• Possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
• Fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing
• Effective communication
• Strong interpersonal skills, who inspires and leads naturally
• Self-motivated and performance driven
• Multi-tasker, Hands on and Team Player
• An existing network of suppliers in commercial aviation aftermarket sector
• Knowledge in Airbus, Boeing or Embraer aircraft is a plus
