PLC Programmer

Responsibilities

To analyze and implement customer requirements and resolve software issues toward the feasibility of design within time.

• Analyses needs and specifications to produce preliminary vision product concepts based on techno-economic factors and technological restrictions.
• Involved in the conceptual/architecture/platform design in the early stage of development.
• Integrate and configure machine vision-related hardware such as lighting, controller, camera, lenses, and optics.
• For design verifications, perform engineering calculations and simulations.
• Participate in a team for on-site equipment setup, commissioning, and buyoff.
• Responsible for onsite system setup and testing for automated vision inspection system.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to customers.
• Prepare a Gantt chart to monitor system loading progress and schedule system delivery & installation.
• Check documents and to ensure the accuracy of the Bill of Material.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years working experience in the related field.
• Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineer/Mechatronic/ Software Engineering
• Strong in software programming, optical inspection & image processing
• Able to work independently, take job pressures, self-motivated and proactive
• Positive thinking and willing to provide extended support to customer
• Applicants must be willing to travel.
• Knowledge in electrical, PC, and PLC control (Omron and Beckhoff) would be an added advantage.
