- Liaising with the Hiring Manager on manpower requirements, hiring needs, position specification and maintain a manpower requisition database.
- Responsible for pre-recruitment and post recruitment process such as shortlisting & screening of candidates, communicate with hiring manager on interview session, arrange for pre-employment medical health screening, prepare for necessary documents and on-boarding arrangement etc
- Prepare recruitment material and post jobs advertisement to appropriate recruitment channel.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, pre-screen applications, review candidates' resume and profile, conduct initial screening to assess candidates' qualifications to determine the suitability.
- Assist in coordinating career engagement activities e.g., university/college/ polytechnic campus talks/fairs, career fairs, etc as and when required.
- Preparing and follow up on Human Resource documentation (medical check-up, reference check and personal documentation).
- To update new joiners’ data/personal details into HR system i.e. Workday, HR Portal
- Conducting a new hire onboarding session i.e induction and orientation program
- Maintain recruitment database for future reference
- Stay abreast on recruitment trends and best practices for resourcing.
HR Operations
- Responsible for the management of all HR operations, including employee relations, employee’s movements, learning and development, compensation & benefits, performance management, leave management and support all others related administrative matters
- Updating and oversee the HR system’s administration (Workday/SAP) and ensure smooth implementation;
- Liaison person for work permit application
- Prepare monthly reports on HR-related metrics
- Provide support and advices employees on HR related matters where needed
- Responsible for any other HR projects and duties as and when require
- Handle all recruitment and onboarding for Sime Darby Industrial.
- To handle sourcing and screening quality candidates for Recoverable Positions i.e. Sales and Mechanic positions.
- To arrange interviews and subsequently assist to close all vacancies with the right candidates at the right time.
- To be resourceful in providing resumes for critical positions such as Sales and Mechanic positions for Sime Darby Industrial in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia
Learning & Development
- Assist to develop yearly Learning & Development plan and budget for management approval.
- Assist on training implementation plan.
Talent Management
- Participate in end to end Succession Planning process (identifying high-potential employees, monitor development plans and preparing for key positions)
- Develop and implement relevant career management programme/initiatives to support the divisions in the efforts around talent and succession pipeline management.
- Assist in Department’s agenda for talent management programs and agenda in identifying, deploying and retaining talent to improve their readiness in assuming leadership/critical positions in the organization
Engagement
- Support continuously company to engage employees and provide necessary support in maximizing employee’s productivity as well as to coordinate and monitor overall talent management initiatives and talent management program.
- Support the implementation of CSR projects/contributions as per Company/Group Policies
Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the superior.
