- Perform detailed design reviews of security architecture for enterprise-wide initiatives, establishing strong security controls and providing guidance to project teams.
- Create comprehensive security architecture frameworks aligned with the business's strategic objectives, ensuring seamless integration across departments for unified security management.
- Led assessments of security protocols for cloud and on-premise business applications, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Design and standardise migration plans for applications transitioning to various cloud models, with a strong emphasis on security considerations.
- Develop secure architectures for public (Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba) and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring they meet or exceed organisational security standards.
- Developing requirements for all IT assets, including routers, firewalls, local area networks (LANs), wide-area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), and other related network devices.
- Reviewing and approving the installation of all firewalls, VPNs, routers, servers, and IDS scanning technologies.
- Preparing cost estimates for all cybersecurity measures and identifying any potential integration issues.
- Designing critical public infrastructures (PKIs), including digital signatures and certification authorities (CA).
about the requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in IT Security, with demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing security architectures within large, complex environments.
- Proficient in cybersecurity protocols and technologies, including Network Segmentation, Secure Web Gateways, Zero Trust Architecture, Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, Network Access Control Systems, Hybrid Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure), DHCP, Secure DNS, IPS/IDS, SIEM, PKI, TLS, EDR, and Threat Intelligence platforms
- Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, and COBIT frameworks.
- Understanding of third-party auditing and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CISM, CCNA Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
