Job Brief:

As an Internal Audit Associate, you'll help check and improve how our company’s processes work. You'll be involved in planning and conducting audits, finding areas that need fixing, and reporting your findings. You'll also assist in creating audit tools and keeping track of how well recommendations are implemented. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Audits: Take charge of audit tasks in your assigned areas, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Develop Programs: Help create and refine departmental programs and checklists to make our audits more effective.
  • Enhance Tools: Assist in improving Internal Audit tools to help our team share knowledge and work more efficiently.
  • Analyze Results: Identify any issues or weaknesses, review audit results, suggest solutions, and help wrap up meetings.
  • Document Findings: Record audit findings and communicate them to the Head of Internal Audit in a clear and timely manner. You’ll also write reports on these findings.
  • Follow-Up: Check in to ensure that recommendations are acted upon and responses from management are addressed.
  • Provide Updates: Keep the Head of Internal Audit informed about how audits are progressing.
  • Special Projects: Work on special reviews or investigations when needed.
  • Other Tasks: Complete any additional audit-related tasks as requested by the Head of Internal Audit.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Analytical Skills: Basic ability to analyze data and identify issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately document findings and follow instructions.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills to present findings and interact with team members.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and an eagerness to learn audit software and tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Willingness to tackle problems and seek solutions with guidance.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks effectively and stay organized.
