The Job

You will work closely with our rapidly growing team to provide hands-on support for our Plant Science R&D experiments and assist in managing day-to-day R&D tasks. Your responsibilities will include supporting various phases of R&D activities such as researching, planning, and implementing new protocols or products. Collaborating with the Plant Science team, you will focus on enhancing crop health, quality, yield, and production efficiency.

Your task will involve

• Research and Documentation: Participate in research activities by collecting and documenting data according to established research protocols. Work closely with plant scientists and engineers to support ongoing R&D projects.
• Data Analysis: Analyze the data collected to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement in farm processes. Provide recommendations based on findings, helping to optimize production and plant growth strategies.
• Collaboration and Team Support: Work within a cross-disciplinary team, collaborating with plant scientists, engineers, and technicians to ensure research goals are met. Contribute to group discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Pattern Recognition and Insight Generation: Utilize data science techniques in collaboration with experienced plant scientists and engineers to uncover hidden patterns in growth data, potentially leading to innovations in plant production, health monitoring, and environmental optimization.
• Hands-on Experience with Advanced Systems: Work with cutting-edge technologies such as IoT systems, sensor networks, hydroponic setups, and climate control systems, gaining firsthand experience in optimizing the growing environment and improving production efficiency.
• Presentation of Findings: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings, insights, and suggestions to senior team members and stakeholders. This could include the development of visual data representations to simplify complex information.

Who YOU Are:

• Confident in plant sciences, biological sciences, or a related field.
• Able to understand business objectives and provide actionable recommendations based on analysis results.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From RM800.00 per month
