Finance Accountant - FormWork (Port Klang)

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports

• Tax reporting and inventory processing

• Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates

• Assisting on budgeting process and liaison with respective department for updates and variances explanation.

• To ensure appropriate Accounts & Finance policy and procedures are in place to provide effective internal control and compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standard.

• Advising on estimates for project funding

• Creating KPI reports

• Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow

• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts

• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data

• Managing and training staff when necessary

• Handling ad-hoc financial matters and projects that may be assigned from time to time.

Education/Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance

• Studying for any Professional Accounting qualification in ACCA, CIMA, CPA a definite advantage

• Minimum 3 – 5 years related experience in accounting & finance.

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment an advantage

• Quick learner with ambition to develop in Financial field

• An Analytical mind with commercial & Business awareness

• Good communication skills both written & verbal

• Technical accounting knowledge of accounting standards would be an advantage.

• Computer knowledge and proficient in MS Office.

• Ability to work with other departments in Organization

• Deadline –orientated and an ability to stick to deadlines

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
